Software
I sometimes like to hack together some code and that code sometimes reaches a point where I think others might find it useful. These are mostly written for GNU/Linux but since I mostly write in Python, a lot are system-independent. Here are some of my more complete projects:
- Grotesque: A library manager for interactive fiction
- pyIFBabel: A Python implementation of the Treaty of Babel for interactive fiction
- Idioma: A bare-bones language training application
- gedit-bio: Handy biology plugins for Gnome Gedit
- GeneNetWalk: A program for randomly generating point mutations in a biological sequence.
I’ve also made some contributions to other projects.
Of course, ideas tend to come more readily than the time to implement them. Here are some projects that have not yet had a chance to mature (or to even come into existence).
